Not a typical job. A different kind of work.

Builders With a Portfolio

You won't work on one thing forever. WiscAI operates across multiple client engagements and an active product portfolio. Every week brings a different problem.

AI-Native From Day One

We don't just build AI products - we use AI to build them. Autonomous agents, AI-assisted development, intelligent automation. This is how work looks now.

Outsized Impact

Small team, big scope. Every person shapes the direction of the company. No layers. No waiting for permission.

Madison, Wisconsin

Based in Madison. Remote-friendly. Midwest cost of living, frontier-level work. The best of both worlds.

Career opportunities

AI is changing how software is built and how companies operate, and the field is moving fast enough that we care more about evidence of ability than years of conventional experience. These roles are for early-career people who have already made something real. You work directly with the founder, clients, and subject-matter experts, with meaningful responsibility early. Each role starts with a paid, scoped evaluation project and grows from there.

Associate AI Engineer, Client Delivery

Hiring Now

Build practical AI systems for real organizations. You work with the founder and client subject-matter experts to turn business requirements into working applications, automations, and internal tools - on active client problems, where you see how your technical decisions affect users, operations, and business outcomes. The role advances to AI Engineer and, in time, Forward-Deployed AI Engineer as you earn independent ownership.

  • Structure: Paid, scoped evaluation project first; full-time employment after a successful mutual fit
  • Location: Madison, WI strongly preferred; hybrid flexible
  • What you'll do: Build AI-enabled applications, automations, and integrations; use AI coding tools extensively while reviewing and testing their output; join client working sessions; move prototypes into production
  • What we're looking for: You have built and deployed something substantial you can show us; AI-assisted development is part of your normal workflow; you finish what you start and can explain a technical decision in plain English

Client Engagement & Operations Coordinator

Hiring Now

Keep WiscAI's client work organized, responsive, and moving forward. The founder owns the client relationships and the difficult conversations; you own the operating rhythm - meetings, status updates, follow-through, agreements, invoices - that makes clients feel informed and well supported. The role grows into Client Engagement Manager or Operations Lead.

  • Structure: Paid, scoped evaluation project first; part-time or full-time after a successful mutual fit
  • Location: Madison, WI preferred; hybrid or remote considered
  • What you'll do: Coordinate meetings, prep, and follow-up; turn notes into actions with owners and due dates; send client status updates; manage agreements, access, invoices, and professional payment follow-up
  • What we're looking for: You have kept something genuinely complicated on track; exceptional attention to detail; clear, warm, human writing; comfort following up on deadlines and payments

Growth Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Coming Soon

Turn WiscAI's client work and community relationships into a consistent public presence and a stronger pipeline. This is not a high-volume advertising role - it is a production and communications role: founder-voice content, case studies, public relations, events, and targeted campaigns, published on a weekly cadence. The role grows into Growth Marketing Manager.

  • Structure: Paid, scoped evaluation project first; part-time or full-time after a successful mutual fit
  • Location: Madison, WI or remote
  • What you'll do: Draft and publish founder-voice LinkedIn content; turn completed engagements into case studies; coordinate PR, awards, directories, and events; run targeted campaigns to warm audiences
  • What we're looking for: Content or campaigns that reached a real audience, with evidence of what happened after; clear, natural writing; weekly production discipline

What to expect

We're a small team building a lot. We ship weekly. We use AI for everything we can. Conversations are direct. Feedback is fast. The pace is high, but the work is meaningful.

You'll work across consumer apps, enterprise clients, and community programs. One day you might be creating a demo video for a voice AI app. The next, writing copy for an executive breakfast forum. The variety is the point.

We're not for everyone. If you want predictable, narrowly-scoped work with a large team - that's not us. If you want to see what AI-augmented work actually looks like from the inside, there's no better seat.

Don't see a fit? Talk to us anyway.

We're growing. If you're excited about AI and building things, we want to know you - even if there's no open role today.
